Abert's towhee

This is a relatively rare bird called an Abert's towhee. The Audubon Society says it has the most restricted distribution of any bird species in America. This was taken in my back yard the afternoon of 30 December using a Canon A200 with a 75mm - 300mm slide Canon telephoto lens,

This is a house finch eating at my birdfeeder. It was taken Tuesday afternoon 30 December 30, with a Canon A200 using a 75mm-300mm Canon lens slid all the way out.

Al's nameplate


This is the Arabic spelling of the name of the owner of this blog. It's not really a name; it's more of a title. My friend thinks I'm a rocket scientist, so this means "The Rocket".
